RRB Group D Notification 2026
The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has issued a brief notification (CEN 09/2025) regarding the RRB Group D Level 1 Recruitment 2026 in the employment newspaper. A total of 22,195 vacancies will be filled for Level 1 posts, including Pointsman, Assistant, Track Maintainer, Assistant Loco Shed, Assistant Operations, and Assistant TL & AC. The selection process will consist of three stages: Computer-Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and Medical Examination/Document Verification.
Educational Qualification
Candidates with the following qualifications are eligible for RRB Group D posts:
- Must have passed the 10th grade from a recognized school, board, or college.
- Should hold an ITI certificate from an NCVT/SCVT-approved institute or college.
Age Limit
Candidates must be at least 18 years old, with a maximum age limit of 33 years, to be eligible for the RRC Group D Exam.
Application Fee
- General/OBC Candidates: The application fee for General and OBC candidates is ₹500, with ₹400 refundable after appearing in the Computer Based Test (CBT).
- SC, ST, EWS, Women, Ex-Servicemen, and PwBD Candidates: The application fee is ₹250, and the full amount will be refunded after the candidate appears in the CBT.
